A PLAIN-ENGLISH NOTE · 20 OCTOBER 2026
Your inbox.
Your business.
This website
If you join early access, we collect your email address, optional first name and consent to receive Mailsi updates. If you use the contact form, we collect your email and message so we can respond. These submissions are stored by our hosting provider, Netlify. Please do not send passwords or sensitive inbox content.
We use early-access details to send Mailsi launch and product updates. We use contact details to respond to your request. We do not sell signup details. This page has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts; the hosting provider processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
The Mac app
Mailsi stores mail and tasks in an encrypted database on your Mac and account credentials in macOS Keychain. It connects directly to the email, calendar and optional Linear services you choose. Those providers process data under their own policies. Remote email images are blocked by default. Sending email and saving calendar events require your action.
Optional Mailsi AI
AI requests start only when you choose an action. You can choose whether to include a selected email thread, recent inbox conversations, local tasks or calendar events; the app does not add those sources to a request unless you select them. Your instruction and selected context are sent to Mailsi’s server on Netlify and then to OpenAI to generate a response or a suggestion. The AI service does not have tools to send email or change your calendar. Suggestions are returned for you to review.
Mailsi uses Supabase for account sign-in, device connections, plan entitlements and AI usage counts. If you connect an external assistant, Mailsi places its remote request and result in a short-lived Supabase job record. Jobs expire after 25 seconds, and Mailsi requests deletion when a request completes. Billing, when available, is handled through Stripe Checkout and the Stripe billing portal. Netlify, Supabase, OpenAI and Stripe process information as part of providing these services. Their handling is subject to their respective Netlify, Supabase, OpenAI and Stripe privacy notices.
Your choices
You decide whether to connect an account, start an AI request, select its context, connect an assistant or subscribe to a paid plan. You can review or disconnect Mailsi devices and assistant connections from your account page. You can request removal from the early-access list or deletion of a form submission through our contact form. Include the email address you used and the request you want us to handle.
Service providers
Service providers may process information in countries outside your own and under their own terms. This note describes how Mailsi is designed to use those services; it does not make promises about provider retention, training, or processing beyond their published terms. We will update this note when the product or its services change.
