A PLAIN-ENGLISH NOTE · 21 OCTOBER 2026

Terms of
service.

These terms are written in plain English. Your rights under applicable consumer law still apply.

Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Mailsi, based in Australia (“Mailsi”, “we” or “us”). They apply when you use the Mailsi website, Mac app and related services. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Using Mailsi

Mailsi brings together email, calendar and tasks on your Mac, with optional AI features and connections to services you choose. You must be legally able to use the service and provide accurate account details. Keep your devices and sign-in methods secure, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account.

You remain responsible for your accounts and the content you choose to connect or enter. When you connect an email, calendar, task or assistant provider, you authorize the access shown during that connection. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

Your review and control

Mailsi may prepare summaries, drafts, task suggestions or other AI-assisted results for you to review. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, so check it before relying on it. Mailsi does not send email or change your calendar on its own. Where the app offers an action to send a message or create or update an event, you review and confirm it first.

AI is optional. Enabling Si allows relevant email, sent-mail writing examples, local tasks and connected-calendar context for your requests. You choose its account and calendar scope, whether to enable automatic task recommendations from newly arriving emails and changed conversations linked to local open tasks, and whether to connect an external assistant. Automatic task recommendations are off by default and require your review before a task or reminder is added, changed or completed. Informational mail may produce no suggestion. Follow-up reminders never send mail. The Privacy Notice explains how selected information is handled.

Plans, billing and cancellation

Paid cloud plans are not currently open for purchase. If and when a subscription is offered, the listed plans are $8 USD per month or $75 USD per year. The checkout page will show the applicable price, billing interval and any taxes before you confirm. Payments are processed by Polar.

Subscriptions renew for the same period unless you cancel before the next renewal. You can cancel through the account or billing controls made available to you; cancellation stops future renewals, and access to paid features continues through the period already paid for unless the checkout terms or applicable law require otherwise.

We do not impose a blanket “no refunds” rule through these terms. Any refund or other remedy required by applicable consumer law remains available. For a billing question or refund request, contact hello@mailsi.io.

Acceptable use and service changes

Do not use Mailsi to break the law, send abusive or unsolicited bulk messages, interfere with the service, bypass security controls or access another person’s data without permission. We may temporarily restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, address abuse or comply with law. When practical, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to address it.

We may update or retire features as the product develops. We will take reasonable steps to give notice of material changes that affect a paid subscription. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during a period you have paid for, contact us so we can discuss an appropriate remedy, subject to any rights provided by law.

Your content and our service

You retain your rights in content you provide or connect. You allow Mailsi to process that content only as reasonably needed to provide the features you choose, provide support, protect the service and meet legal obligations. The Privacy Notice explains how information is handled and retained.

Mailsi and its software, branding and design belong to their respective owners. These terms do not transfer ownership of your content or grant either side rights beyond those stated here.

Ending use of the service

You can stop using Mailsi at any time and disconnect providers you no longer want to use. You can cancel a paid plan as described above. We may suspend or end access where reasonably necessary for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, to protect users or the service, or to comply with law. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first. This does not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

Responsibility and legal rights

We work to provide a useful and reliable service, but Mailsi may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you believe a problem has caused you loss, contact us so we can understand and address it.

Privacy and support

Our Privacy Notice explains how information is handled. For questions about these terms, your account or billing, email hello@mailsi.io.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia. Any dispute will be handled by a court with jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply where you live.
